I have been watching the TV series High Fidelity where Zoe Kravitz now plays John Cusack’s character. It is as enjoyable as the book and the film but if you have seen the film you will know at one point Bruce Springsteen appears in Cusack’s flat offering advice. I’m no Einstein, you have probably guessed that based on my writing but if I ever have a number one album (it’s doubtful if I am honest) I am not sure after it I would decide to take loads of drugs and let it all fall apart. However, loads do it and many will do it again and Elastica succumbed to that temptation. 367) The Housemartins - The People Who Grinned Themselves To Death
We have already discussed Paul, Stan, Norman, and Hugh before when we wrote about their debut. A number one single has happened, and drummer Hugh has decided to leave and be replaced by Dave. For their second album lead singer Paul Heaton and lead guitarist Stan Cullimore writes all twelve songs, it was looking like a long-term fruitful partnership but within a year the band were over although the split was amicable.
